
In 2001, about 40% of the factory’s employees were new immigrants. In recognition of this support of the immigrant community, Soglowek won the Jewish Agency’s first prize for employers absorbing immigrants.
Soglowek, as a company, encourages volunteerism in its employees, and itself contributes to the community and Israeli society. Soglowek adopted a beach segment around Nahariya for the protection of the environment. The company also sponsors volunteer projects for its employees, as well as a food distribution project for the poor. The company supports the disabled and lovingly embraces the children of the Ilanot School.
Soglowek has been recognized for its contributions by Maala - Business for Social Responsibility for over five years.
